Sphynx Cats Cattery Omorfosgatos Sphynxdream

Cattery Omorfosgatos is a small cattery located in North-Eastern Nebraska, USA. We are committed to the betterment of the Sphynx breed and strive to raise healthy well adapted animals. We started our cattery after buying our first Sphynx, Cleo in 2003 and falling in love with her. We have never been dissapointed with any of our animals, all are unique characters with unique personalities. They are loving, curious attention seekers. These cats seek you out and demand your attention. They love to sleep under the covers with you at night and will keep you company at all times of the day. Our animals are on the loose and have run of the house. They are around small children and a tea cup poodle day in and day out which makes them highly adapted to a typical family life. Sphynx are not timid creatures, yet they are very gentle and non-aggressive. We have had the opportunity to familiarize ourselves with a multitude of breeds and have found there are very few breeds that offer what a Sphynx offers, they are simply superior in cleanliness and disposition, and you never have to worry about cat hair on your furniture or dark clothes. We have sold our cats to a number of visitors that do not like domestic cats, truly because of our Sphynx's unique nature. Our program is based solely on the love of the Sphynx breed. Unlike many breeders that rely on income generated from their cats to survive, we are in no way financially dependent on our breeding program. I am a Registered Nurse and my husband is an Anesthesiologist which allows us to stand behind our animals to the point we will refund or replace any animal that comes out of our cattery found to have an unforeseen genetic or medical problem, we truly want our adoptive families to be happy with their Sphynx. We are working hard to import new blood lines from over-seas to improve the quality of the breed in the USA and are working with a cattery over-seas with the same philosophy to achieve these goals. Currently we are only offering American based bloodlines but in the near future others will be available. At any given time we have only one litter of kittens available, this enables us to give the kittens our full attention and keeps the mother's stress levels low, because of this we are always happy to keep people on a waiting list for future litters. Our cats are registered with Tica and Cfa and we offer both breeder/show and pets. Our prices are based on current market values and depend on the type of markings and physical features. We sell under contract as do all American breeders. Our contracts have minimal stipulations and prior to purchase we will happily address your personal needs. Potential adoptive families are welcome to visit our cattery on an appointment basis.
